At Its Heart, Personal Injury is about Compassion

The team here at the Law Offices of Burg & Brock understands the reputation that personal injury lawyers have: the ambulance chasing, greedy attorneys who perhaps have overactive sweat glands. We don't necessarily need to address that because we know that the work we do as a Los Angeles personal injury law firm is helping victims piece their lives back together. At the end of the day, we truly believe that personal injury law is about compassion.

Take a look at two stories that we posted about this week on our LA accident lawyer Facebook page. One is about Sarah Jones, who died on the set of a film, and the other is about an SUV driver who ran over a man on a motorcycle. The way we look at it is that these are incidents where some compassion would have gone a long way. Safety standards on set are supposed to protect everybody and ignoring those standards are cruel. We hesitate to comment on the SUV case because there are a lot of confusing variables there, but we'd hope that any incident where somebody mows somebody down could be prevented by the two parties trying to understand each other.

If legal action is being taken in either of these cases, then it will simply just be to right lapses in judgment, getting these families on a path back to normalcy. If you've been the victim of somebody's lack of compassion, give Cameron Yadidi Brock a call for a free consultation at 888-509-2998.
