Product Liability is an Important Aspect of Personal Injury Law

Non-lawyers are often surprised to learn that a personal injury law firm is qualified to take on product liability cases. However, it makes sense when you think about it; just like an injury can be due to negligence on the part of somebody behind the wheel, harm can be caused by negligent or uncaring product manufacturers. The Law Offices of Burg & Brock, led by Cameron Yadidi Brock, Esq., is dedicated to helping those harmed by faulty products due to negligence, lack of foresight, or downright greed.

Because of governmental standards, we typically trust the products we buy in stores. Unfortunately, defects can occur in diverse products that make it to our shelves, which might necessitate help from a product liability lawyer if harm is caused. In fact, here are some recent product recalls that show the wide-reaching effects of product defects:

  • Glass fish bowls shaped like a brandy snifter (PetSmart)
  • Fully cooked chicken breast tenders for mis-branding and undeclared egg and wheat allergens (Sugar Lake Farms with certain product codes)
  • Golf carts and buggies for potentially untightened steering wheel nuts (E-Z-GO)
  • Crossbows that might auto-fire (Excalibur Matrix Mega 405)

This is not to say that these companies are typically negligent or had ill-will when making these products. However, it is unfortunate and unnecessary if anybody was harmed by them. If you think you or a loved one has been the victim of products rushed to market, then contact Los Angeles personal injury attorney Cameron Yadidi Brock. His expertise and track record (98% of cases net a settlement for the victim) speak for themselves. Call 1-888-509-2998 for a free consultation.

Time to Get 'Happy' About L.A. Sidewalk Repair? Not so Fast...

Though well-known as a top vehicle accident lawyer Cameron Yadidi Brock is equally impressive as a personal injury attorney in Los Angeles. That's why the attorney and his team was delighted to see this video on YouTube by a local Los Angeles sketch comedy group in support of sidewalk repair in L.A.:

The video seems to be working, too - The Los Angeles Times reports that earlier this week, L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti vowed to double spending to fix broken sidewalks in Los Angeles - from $10 million to $20 million. However, there's one problem - none of the money that was budgeted for this year has been spent so far. Strange as it may sound, city officials have said they held off on sidewalk spending because of a lawsuit filed by disabled residents who have asserted that broken sidewalks infringe on their rights to public access.

"They should have gotten this done", says Stuart Waldman, president of the Valley Industry and Commerce Assn. Waldman goes on to say that the prospect of the unspent money "going back in the general fund is ridiculous". With questions as to when or if the repairs will ever see the light of day, L.A. residents are no doubt relieved to know that the renowned motorcycle accident lawyer Cameron Yadidi Brock is also the head of a truly skilled and passionate slip and fall and personal injury lawyer team at The Law Offices of Burg & Brock, Inc.

When it comes to local politics, there's very little you can count on - particularly in a big city like Los Angeles. However, with residents energized to see their city sidewalks made safe as soon as possible, this fact can be frustrating, but Cameron Y. Brock and his world class Los Angeles personal injury law firm can provide invaluable relief through exceptional legal skill.
