Certain Cases Require a Passionate Litigator

Too often, corporate personal injury firms will only accept the easiest, most cut and dried cases that they know they can settle out of court. Rather than fighting for these clients, these firms only fight for themselves by taking the cases that require the least amount of effort.

Yet, the Law Offices of Burg & Brock are different. We fight passionately to win our clients the compensation they deserve, whether that may be in or out of court. Over the years we have secured our clients over 100 million dollars in settlements and court decisions, and have an overall 97% success rate.
Few firms can match that trial record.

We get to know all of our clients because we believe that the best way to convey a client’s pain to the court is to truly understand what they are going through. While some damages like hospital bills are easy to explain financially to the court, emotional pain must be conveyed by a talented litigator, and our chief litigator Cameron Yadidi Brock is just the man for the job. With Mr. Brock in your corner, you have the best chance possible to secure the compensation you deserve

Personal Injury: Accidental, Automotive, and Automatic

Most of us already know that traveling in your car on the road is the single most dangerous modes of transportation and a huge percentage of total personal injury claims. Still, it’s a reality most of us have to content with as we commute to and from work every day. The best we can hope for is to do what we can to drive as safely as possible, but, unfortunately, you could still suffer from injury if someone else causes you to get into an accident. If you do, you’re going to need a good LA accident lawyer like us to make sure your rights are protected. In the meantime, companies like Google, Uber, and now, reportedly Apple are developing self-driving cars which they assert will be more efficient, safer, and less costly in the long run.

There are many obstacles that stand in the way of seeing self-driving cars on the road anytime soon. Though the technology is starting to make that vision a reality, one of the main challenges these companies face is that law makers simply haven’t been able to figure out who would be at fault in the event of an accident. For this reason and more, we’ll probably all be getting to work the old fashioned way during the next decade. Remember, as you commute, if you are involved in an accident, look toward the services of a legal team with a strong trial record like the Law Offices of Cameron Yadidi Brock,

Anywhere, Any Time

Working in the field of personal injury law, there may be times when those of us in the field feel as if we've seen just about every kind of tragedy and mishap. Even so, the incident that took place this week in which former Olympian turned television personality Bruce Jenner, found himself in an accident which took the life of Calabasas resident and philanthropist Kim Howe, kind of threw us for a loop. We've accumulated quite a trial record, but it's been awhile since we seen a case locally quite so tragic involving people quite like this.

Reports right now are centering on a number of coincidences surrounding the case. Jenner and Howe did not know each other, but they have a number of loose connections in common. In particular, Ms. Howe was a neighbor of several members of the Kardashian family.

It's a small world, so maybe it's not too surprising that a car accident in Malibu would involve two people with a number of seemingly odd connections. What it is, however, is a reminder that it doesn't matter who you are -- world famous athlete, a well-liked animal rights activist, or even an LA accident lawyer -- the only thing separating you from a horrific mishap is good luck and your own good judgement in avoiding dangers. In other words, stay alert!

A Hit and Run is Still a Hit and Run No Matter Who’s Behind the Wheel

Our culture is obsessed with celebrities. From the clothes they wear to all the latest juicy details and gossip on their personal lives, we just can’t seem to get enough. Because we put celebrities up on a pedestal, it’s easy to believe that they could get away with anything. Still, being famous doesn’t place you above the law, and Cameron Yadidi Brock fights for justice across the board, no matter who they’re up against, whether it's Louis the neighborhood, or Lance Armstrong!

In what’s making national headlines this week, Lance Armstrong’s girlfriend, Anna Hansen, was reportedly engaged in a hit and run incident in Colorado with two parked vehicles. Except, as it turned out, Hansen wasn’t driving. The driver was in fact Lance Armstrong himself who allegedly not only had a few to drink, but attempted to have his girlfriend take the fall. Here at the Law Office of Burg & Brock as a leading personal injury attorney, we’d like to remind everyone that if you leave the scene of an accident, it’s a hit and run. It doesn’t matter who’s driving.

The police department has yet to comment if they’re charging Anna Hansen, Lance Armstrong, or both, but we think the owners of those parked cars should definitely look into a vehicle accident lawyer to make sure they’re properly represented.
